Dear Dr. Hsu:

	Many thanks for your letter of July 25 which arrived today and
your telegram of August 2 which arrived yesterday.  As I wrote in my
telegram of today, I propose to arrive in Peking on Friday September 1 on
Pakistani Airlines Flight 751 from Tokyo which arrives at 1350
and leave from Peking on Friday September 8 on JAL 784
which departs from Peking to Tokyo at 1620.
The departure date can be varied if you get tired of me or if mutual
interest suggests an extension.

	After August 22, I will be at Research Institute of Mathematics,
Kyoto University, Kyoto Japan, c/o Professor S. Takasu.

	My recent work has been in artificial intelligence, in
mathematical theory of computation (program proving), and in
applications of computers.  I enclose several papers and will be
glad to discuss any of the topics they cover.
